Parties and lunches with family and friends are filling the diary but it will soon be back to training for Anne as she's signed up for a very special and powerful event – it’s
called the Susan G. Komen 3-Day™ - and takes place in the States each year. It’s in November and it is a 60-mile journey
over 3 days to raise money for research into breast cancer.
'A 60 mile walk for my 60th – I feel it is appropriate,' says Anne.
Instead of birthday presents Anne asked all her friends and family to donate to this amazing charity which raises millions of pounds each year to help in the fight against breast cancer.
'Thank you to everyone for their birthday wishes, their messages of love and laughter and for all the donations. I am overwhelmed,' says Anne.
